Cardiology Department

The Heart & Vascular Center of New Brunswick was started in 2007 by Dinesh K. Singal MD FACC FACP FSCAI. In 2013, the practice morphed into the Cardio Metabolic Institute of New Jersey, focusing on the comprehensive treatment of cardiovascular disease, while offering other lifestyle interventions such as preventative exercise and nutrition programs to promote healthy hearts for all of its patients.

CMI offers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular disease treatments including echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, holter monitoring, vascular testing, cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, and stenting.

Based in New Jersey, the main office is located Somerset; however, satellite offices exist in both in East Brunswick and Monroe Township.

Insurances Accepted

We participate in Medicare and most managed care insurances. As the insurance industry is constantly changing feel free to call us with any questions or concerns related to your coverage and our services. Please note, copays are expected at the time services are provided. Also, patients are responsible for bringing a valid referral prior to the visit (if applicable). The practice reserves the right not to see a patient without a valid referral from the primary physician.

Are you new to our practice and want to make an appointment? You can either call the office at 732-846-7000 OR complete our web based registration form. Once completed, one of our staff members will contact you to schedule your appointment.

PLEASE NOTE: We require a 24 hour notice if you cannot keep your appointment. The practice reserves the right to charge a $25 no show charge if we do not get adequate notice.
